BMore Indivisible sent members to a Medicaid Public Forum organized by Health Care Access Maryland featuring Congressmen Elijah Cummings (MD-7) and John Sarbanes (MD-3) along with Baltimore City Health Commissioner Leana Wen. The event provided a forum for participants to share their stories about the importance of Medicaid and the consequences that Trump’s proposed $800b cut to Medicaid will have on health care throughout Baltimore City.
